My Morning Routine

I recently changed up morning routine since my last morning routine post. It's almost the same, but as the months went on and as I started getting more Pilates clients in person (because covid cases are continuing to go down), I've been wavering a bit on my morning routine. I've learned that as your life changes, your daily routine needs to adapt to the new life changes.


These are the things I do before checking my email, text messages or go on social media:

  1. I meditate using my Calm app. When I do this first thing, I feel ready and at ease to start my day.

  2. I read over my life vision and affirmations. Doing this gives me motivation to stay on track with my goals and not give up.

  3. I write in my 5 minute journal app. I list 3 things what I'm grateful for and 3 things I can do to make the day great. This practice reminds me to be thankful for everything and anything. Listing the 3 things to make the day great helps me to mentally plan what I need to do to feel productive at the end of the day.

  4. Take a probiotic pill. Probiotics helps to balance the friendly bacteria in your digestive system.

  5. I drink hot water with apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has a ton of benefits so I make sure to this one daily.

  6. I do a short loving kindness meditation. I basically pick a person each day and think of them as I go through the meditation. Sometimes it's someone who is close to me, someone who I interact with regularly, someone who I don't see often, or someone who I don't know personally. This practice helps me to show grace to everyone. We all have different battles.

This whole morning routine is about 20 minutes. So, not too long. After my morning routine, I'm ready to start my day at the computer or at the Pilates studio.
