For the whole month of August, I'm going to eliminate foods that don't make me feel good afterwards or make me bloated: fried food, white breads, cookies, candy, pizza, pasta, and cheese. I don't drink a lot of alcohol, but decided to eliminate alcohol as well.
I want to see what would happen if I ate clean for an entire month. Would my skin look better? Will I have more energy? Will I sleep better? I know the answer is yes, but I also want challenge myself to eat healthier.
Having to quarantine this long kind of made me too comfortable in the food department. After certain meals, my stomach would hurt and/or I wouldn't feel great the next morning. But why is it when I'm eating savory foods, it feels so good at the time lol. Now that I have time to notice how I feel after eating, I'm finally going to commit for a month of healthy eating 24/7.
I feel ready for this challenge because I don't have any junk food at home and my husband and I bought a lot of healthy food for the month. So as long as we eat at home mostly, we should be good. If we get lazy to cook, we also have healthy restaurants to get take out from.
Have you done a challenge like this? How did it go? Did you see results?
Stay tuned for updates! I'll be posting weekly about my challenge.
