Live Your Life In 30 Day Challenges

I recently listened to this podcast, How To Live Your Life In 30 Day Challenges, by Hal Elrod. Instead of listing out your new year resolutions at the beginning of the year only to forget about them as the year goes on, live your life in 30-day challenges.

For example, if you want to improve your health, you can decide in the upcoming month to eat healthier every single day. Before the forthcoming month, do some research on eating healthier, so you are ready to go. I would look into healthy recipes or check out healthy options at nearby restaurants. Then, before the month starts, create a menu plan to avoid not eating healthy.

If you don't know what challenge to do, think about what you would like to improve in your life. Some examples could be improving your relationship with your partner or child, increasing income, and exercising regularly. Hal suggested that once you choose your challenge, meditate or think about it. Then, grab your journal, close your eyes, visualize yourself completing the goal, and write any ideas you get in the journal. If you need more time with your challenge, feel free to extend the challenge another month or two.

In life, don't wait for the perfect moment. The perfect moment is now." - Hal Elrod
