Happy New Year! I hope you had a good 2021 despite everything going on in the world.


For the past week, I have reflected on the past year and written out all my goals for 2022. I bought this journal over Black Friday weekend, and it's helped me process everything. It also has sections to reflect weekly and monthly in the current year. If you aren't keen on getting a journal, here is a little guidance on things to think or write about when reflecting:


- What are your personal accomplishments?

- What didn't go well?

- What lessons have you learned?

- Who helped you along the way?

- What are the happiest moments of the year?

- What are some highlights?

- What are you grateful for?

- How was your health?

- How were your relationships? (partner, spouse, friends, family)

- What have you achieved professionally?

- What are the top lessons you have learned?


Once you have reflected on the past year, you can prepare for the upcoming year.


- What are your top goals of the year?

- List goals from each category, for example, health, personal, family, relationships, career, giving, hobbies, travel

Narrow it down to a few goals because you may become overwhelmed if you have too many.

- Break each goal down into months, weeks, days. What will you have to do every month to achieve your goal? What will you have to do each week to achieve your goal? What will you have to do each day to achieve your goal?
