10 Apps I Use On A Daily Basis

I want to share some of the apps I use on a daily basis because these apps are great! I love these apps and probably would be disorganized if I didn’t have these apps in my life.

Here they are in no order of importance:

ree

Notion: In this app you can make databases, Kanban boards, wikis, calendars, and reminders. You can also create systems for knowledge management, note taking, data management, project management, and much more. I personally use it to: track my habits, outline tasks for different projects, track my goals, manage all my relationships with my important friends and family, and keep track of my notes from anything I want to look into or learned.

Podcasts: By listening to podcasts, I'm able to keep up with important news around the world, learn how to be more productive, learn about history, learn how to improve myself mentally and physically, and so much more. There are so many podcasts out there for all walks of life and they are all free!!! I like listening to podcasts when driving, cleaning, and cooking.

Forest: This app helps me to focus on my work. When you want to focus on something (work, studying, hanging out with family or friends) "plant" a tree. While you are virtually "planting" your tree in the app, it helps you to stay focused because it encourages you not to use your phone. If you leave the app halfway, your tree will die. The more virtual trees you plan, the more virtual coins you will get to plant real trees in a real forest. The app is partnered with Trees for the Future.

Gmail is the app that I have used the longest on this list. It's easy to use and it's secure. I also love how it categorizes my emails automatically into: Primary, Social, and Promotions.

Fantastical: I use Fantastical as my personal calendar. It's easy to use and it syncs to my iPhone, iPad, and Apple watch. It even displays the weather for each day from AccuWeather.

Calm is an awesome meditation app. Every day there is a new guided meditation to do. I love how the meditation of the day covers a different topic and how soothing the speaker sounds. There are also guided meditations covering topics like: stress, anxiety, work, competitions, performance, and many more subjects. There is also a sleep section of sleep stories told by well known people. Whenever I can't fall asleep I listen to one of the stories and I fall asleep right away.

5- Minute Journal App. In the morning I write 3 things that I'm grateful for and 3 things I will do to make the day great. Then in the evening, I write 3 amazing things that happened during the day. There is also a prompt to answer, "How could I have made today even better?". You can also add a picture of the day for each day. I like this app because it send out reminders both in the morning and evening to make sure you fill out everything. I probably wouldn't be as consistent with listing what I'm grateful for each morning and reflecting on every amazing thing that happened with a regular notebook.

1SE is one of the best documenting apps out there. All you do is take a video of a part of your day and insert just 1 second of it in the app. Once you put the seconds together for each month or year, it's fun to look back at all the seconds of your life.

Activity app on the iPhone: This app makes me move. I have the Activity app on my Apple watch face so I know to make sure to stand every hour I'm awake and get a 30 minute workout in each day. Just seeing an incomplete circle makes me motivated to complete it ASAP. The monthly activity challenges are fun too.

Photoshop Camera App: This app has the coolest filters and effects for your photos. And it's free!
